Our bearing housings made from CrMo4 with internal cooling operate in environments with temperatures up to 1400°C – ideal for rolling and cooling lines in steelworks, where molten steel is guided and cooled on rollers at initial temperatures between 1200 and 1350°C.
The bearing housings feature internal cooling channels and a welded stainless steel cover – a demanding combination of different materials that we have mastered over the years to ensure maximum durability and thermal performance.

How We Do It
Materials: steels such as 42CrMo4, stainless steel, cast iron.
Welding: TIG, MAG, laser, submerged arc – with focus on tightness and geometry.
Post-weld treatment: heat treatment, annealing to relieve stresses.
Testing: hydrotest, pneumatic test, helium test – according to requirements.
